Those first few weeks with your newborn babe are fleeting and oh-so-precious.... and maybe a little exhausting too! I want to make documenting these moments super simple to capture for you. I love a fresh and classic approach whether in home or in-studio. These sessions are very "baby-led" and won't drag on for hours - we will capture all the sweetest little moments and expressions whether baby is awake or asleep. My goal is always curating heirloom photos for their nursery, baby announcement, baby book, and fine art prints.

I was thrilled to document this families newborn session for their first born babe! She was TRULY a joy - can't you tell?! The love felt in their apartment was the sweetest thing. I brought everything needed for the session to their condo and we utilized a blank wall space for a handful of "studio" look like images. It was the best of both worlds!

This session was an in-home session where we set up a warm colored backdrop to compliment the warmth in their skin tones and hair. But seriously, can you even believe this little darling's hair?! A baby with a ton of hair makes me smile so big - am I right?!

Reach out to Brooke for session availability about 2-3 months before your due date! Of course, some mamas get on the schedule during their first trimester and thats absolutely okay too - I am excited for you and your growing family! If you are only a few weeks out and have just decided you want newborn photos, be sure to reach out ASAP so we can get you a date! I always photograph newborns in the first 2 weeks after birth so we can get them in the snuggliest, sleepiest, tiniest time of life. You have the option of full family newborn sessions or just baby sessions. Completely up to you!
1. Say Hello
Of course we never know *exactly* when you will deliver - and that's okay! No need to worry. I only take on a handful of newborn clients each month for THIS exact reason. I want to be fully available and flexible for YOU. If you deliver a couple weeks early or late - we will make it happen. I promise! We will schedule a tentative session date and location and then be flexible. Since many husbands will take paternity in the first two weeks after baby being born, scheduling a mid-week time will give us a lot of flexibility... by now you can probably tell "flexibility" is the key here!
2. Schedule it
Once a tentative date is reserved, we can go through wardrobe, styling, and any specific special requests you may have for your newborn session. We can set up a call, meet in person or on zoom/FaceTime, or just message about it. Whatever you are feeling up to!
3. Planning it
This is the fun! You relax, and I will take care of making sure the session flows well. We will have a great session laughing, getting you to snuggle with your little one - and we will all ooh and ahh over just how perfect they are!
4. Your Session
A day or two after your session I will send you a little sneak peak from your session - I know how hard it is to wait for such precious memories! 7-10 days after your session your images will be available to view, so you can "favorite" the images you want printed and to purchase! I will happily help design and print the birth announcements, nursery gallery, memory box, albums, and more! I am here to help!
5. Your Photographs
collections from $650
All sessions have access to designer dresses in the client closet and neutral baby wraps, wall art and album planning and design, and personalized full editing of an online gallery. Digital image packages and high quality heirloom prints and products available.
